Let's celebrate the 10th solar plant protection !

We celebrate this month our tenth solar plant protection project. This new plant, located in France, will be operational by the end of the summer.

After having installed one of the biggest european plant in Quesada in Spain (color cameras, IR spots, Jaguar), and other installations in south sunny regions of Europe, here is a new french site which will benefit of the video analytics technology over thermal cameras. Here is a picture of the building of this plant today.

"The choice of a solution based on thermal cameras with video analytics with the Jaguar software was self evident for cost constraints, declares the installer," Patrice D. "Only Jaguar can detect in a so performing way using the camera performance, at ranges of more than one kilometer on a flat earth stripe. The low false alarm rates (less than 0.5 a day on this application) when added to a limited number of cameras, all this leads to low installation costs, very low false alarm rates, and thus to very low remote surveillance costs, and a remote surveillance which stays awake ! At last, it is a self sufficent system : it detects and filters alarms autonomously, without GSM or ADSL connection to the builder's, and provides alarms completely motivated by a good quality video sequence. We don't need any other tools for raising doubt."
